Pokhara Fewa Lake, Like Kathmandu, Pokhara is another important place to visit in Nepal. Pokhara is also known as the city of lakes. The main three lakes named Fewa Lake, Begnas Lake and Rupa Lake lie inside Pokhara. MUKTINATH TEMPLE: The beautiful Saligramam, or as it’s popularly known Muktinath, is a sacred pilgrimage site regarded highly in both the Hindu and Buddhist beliefs. From here, at a height of 3,710 meters, the world seems to open up in all its glory with stunning views of the magnificent Himalayan Mountains. There are many legends that tell how the holy shrine of Muktinath rose up on its own accord amongst seven others, which include Srirangam, Tirupati, Sri Mushnam, Thottadri, Naimisaranyam, Pushkaram and Badrinath. The holy shrine is also considered to be part of the 108 vaishnava shrines found here.
DAY 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

DAY 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing tour
Morning visit Patan. In Patan visit the old Newar City, the historic Durbar Square, the Golden Gate, the sky piercing temple of Teleju and the statue of Yogendra Malla, other temples, old carved windows and balconies of wood, curio shops and bazaars. Afternoon excursion to Bhadgaon, Bodhnath and Pashupatinath. Bhadgaon – another Newar city founded in the 9th century. Visit the ancient Gateway, Durbar Square the Royal Residential quarter of Bhupatindra Malla, the famous five-storeyed temple of Nyatapola in pagoda style and other temples. Later, visit Bodhnath, the 2500-year old Buddhist Stupa, – a holy place for Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet. Also visit Pashupatinath temple where Shiva is worshipped in the form of lingam. (Only Hindus are allowed inside). In the month of February an annual pilgrimage on the occasion of Shivaratri is organized here every year. Overnight at Kathmandu.
DAY 3: Drive kathmandu to Pokhara
Morning drive to Pokhara by road. On arrival in Pokhara, check in at the hotel. Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 827m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a center of adventure. The enchanting city with a population of around 95,000 has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. DAY 4: Pokhara Sightseeing Tour

DAY 5: Fly pokhara to Jomsom

Jomsom is also the gateway to The Muktinath shrine that holds great religious significance to both Buddhists and Hindus. The altitude in this area varies from 2012m near Ghasa to 8091 m (Mt. Annapurna) – vertical height difference of 6079 m over a distance of only 14 Km. Though this is a remote area, private initiative in the form of many domestic airlines operate frequent flights to the area. DAY 7: Jomsom fly to pokhara and fly back to Kathmandu
