The Gokyo Trek to renjo la pass offers an alternative to the traditional Everest base camp trek. From Goyko RI, more of Everest itself is visible than from Kala Pattar above Gorak Shep.The mountains are more spectacular, the Ngozumpa Glacier is the largest in the Nepal Himalaya and, from a ridge above Goyko, and four 8000-meter peaks (Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu) are visible. Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to a hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu sightseeing to the World Heritage Sites.
Day 03 : Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) and trek to Phakding (2610m).
Day 04 : Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446m).
Day 05 : Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization.
Day 06 : Trek Namche Bazaar to Dole (4200m).
Day 07 : Trek Dole to Machhermo (4470m).
Day 08 : Trek Machhermo to Gokyo (4790m).
Day 09 : Rest day at Gokyo, climb at Gokyo Ri (5360m) in the morning.
Day 10 : Trek Gokyo to Marulung (4210m) crossing over Renjo la pass (5340m).
Day 11 : Trek Marulung to Thame (3820m).
Day 12 : Trek Thame to Namche Bazaar.
Day 13 : Return trek Namche Bazaar to Lukla.
Day 14 : Fly Lukla to Kathmandu (35 minutes), hotel.
Day 15 : Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 16 : Fly out Kathmandu.
