Nepal may be remembered only for trekking, hiking adventures but also an ideal destination for golfers. We have some famous golf courses that provide excellent opportunity to play in natural beauty and in the backdrop of spectacular Himalayan panorama. Lead architect David McLeay Kidd, and Director of Turf grass Management James Kidd, both of Gleneagles Golf Developments, brought their world wide experience in design and agronomy to create a truly world class facility at Gokarna Golf Club in Kathmandu. Royal Nepal Golf Club perched conjointly on the sloping land alongside the airport strip at Tilganga. Established in 1829 by the ruling Ranas, the course was given royal status in 1911 and claims to be one of the oldest golf clubs in Asia.  Luxury golf vacation in the majestic Himalayas, known as the “Rooftop of the World”, has to be the ultimate experience. Nepal has a mostly balmy climate which makes golfing an enjoyable experience.All-inclusive golf holiday packages in the Himalayas offer cultural experiences of Nepal, world-renowned golf courses on some of the world’s highest fairways, five-star luxury accommodation, the opportunity for local sightseeing and helicopter transportation through breathtaking scenery, including the snow-covered peaks of Everest’s foothills. Combine cultural activities, UNESCO World Heritage Sites and unique activities with a round of golf at every opportunity, whilst enjoying all the comforts of home in a five star luxury resort.
